Objectives Product Design and Development
  • To train manpower in product design & development, manufacturing, maintenance and information technology.
  • To maintain close links with industries, R&D centres and academic institutions.
  • To undertake product development, contract research and consultancy.

To meet the objectives, the centre runs:

  1. AICTE approved six semesters (three years) Diplomas in Electronics Production and Maintenance (DEPM) to meet the requirements of Industry by creating dedicated and immediate productive technicians.
  2. AICTE approved four semesters (two years) M. Tech in Electronics Design and Technology [M. Tech (EDT)] to produce Electronics Design Engineers.
  3. Short Term industry oriented courses in Electronics, IT and allied fields.

In Aug., 2003 a course on Bioinformatics has been introduced at "O" and 'A" levels for the benefit of students aspiring to become bioinformatics professionals, since bio-informatics has emerged as convergence of two important scientific and technological disciplines viz. Biology and Information Technology. The society is also planning to launch "DOEACC Scheme on Hardware Courses" during the first quarter of this year.

Quality education at affordable cost is the identity of DOEACC Centre and it believes in maintaining the quality at all levels.
