Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (erstwhile Department of Electronics - DoE), Govt. of India, Government of Maharashtra and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad jointly set up DOEACC Centre (Formerly Centre for Electronics Design and Technology of India [CEDTI]) Aurangabad in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University campus at Aurangabad (Maharashtra) in 1986.
