DOEACC Centre / Location

Aurangabad is a historical city situated in the state of Maharashtra. It is about 388 km northeast of Mumbai and connected by railway as well as airway with the rest of the country. The 20 acres campus of the center is located within the campus of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University at a distance of five kms from the Central Bus Stand. The famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora are located at 101 kms and 27 kms respectively from the city.

Winter- Winter in Aurangabad is from Mid October to mid February. The weather is normally dry and the day temperature is around 16-18 degree Cent. The nights are very cool and the temperature is around 6-9 degree Cent. December is the coldest among all the months.

Summer- Summer in Aurangabad is hot as in other parts ofthe country. The day temperature is around 40 degree Cent during peak summer, which is during April and May. The night temperature is around 20-25 degree Cent. The early morning weather is generally very pleasant in Aurangabad. The period of summer is from March to May till first rain comes.

Rains - Rainy season in Aurangabad starts from 7th June every year after arrival of the monsoon. The season lasts up to September. During rainy season the day temperature is around 35 degree Cent and the night temperature is around 20 degree Cent. The rainfall is average in this region
