Registration of Students for the courses

Registration is meant for students and is a pre-requisite for appearing in the examinations for Hardware 'O' or 'A' Level course under the DOEACC Hardware Scheme. This system of registration is similar to that followed in distance education as well as in the formal stream. This shall help in monitoring the growth of a student at various levels.

Some important aspects about registration are:

Registration is allowed only at one level at a time;
It is valid for a specified period after which re-registration is required;
After completion of a particular level successfully, registration is allowed for the next higher level after paying the prescribed fees.
Registration number is unique, and will remain the same for a candidate unless the candidate changes level, without completion of the level for which initial registration is given.
A candidate can surrender the Registration in favour of another level. But if failed, at the original level, shall not be eligible to appear in the unsuccessful papers in the original level. Also no exemption against modules passed (even for common papers) shall be allowed at new level.

Registration with DOEACC society is a pre requisite and candidates are required to register themselves with DOEACC Society, before they can appear in an examination, by applying in the prescribed form, which can either be downloaded from DEOACC website, or is available free of cost at the counter of DOEACC Society or its Regional Centres. Examination forms submitted without Registration number shall be rejected. REGISTRATION is open throughout the year and valid for a specified number of consecutive examinations taking into account the cut-off date for the next immediate examination after registration. There is a cut-off date beyond which the registrants cannot take examination. Number of consecutive examinations in which a student can appear is mentioned in the registration allocation letter. The student is also required to enclose undertaking alongwith the registration form in a prescribed format.
