Eligibility

10th standard passed from a recognized Board with a minimum average score of 50% (relaxable to 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category only) in Mathematics and Science subjects. Those who have appeared for the 10th standard examination and awaiting results before June 30th of the current year are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

The candidate's age should not be less than 15 years and more than 18 years as on July 1st of the current year. Upper age limit is relaxable to 20 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection

Selection of candidates for DEPM is based on an entrance test and interview. The Entrance test and interview will be conducted in the month of June/July of the current year. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
